Ed Ligus is a Product Support Manager for Gas Detection Products at Draeger, Inc. with 38 years of experience in gas detection. Ed has invested 35 years of his career working for Draeger with a focus on colorimetric indicator tubes, commonly referred to as detector tubes used for the identification and quantification of industrial gases and vapors and chemical agents.
Ed is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Chemistry. He is a current member of the AIHA Real Time Detection Systems Committee, regularly attends the AIHce and various safety and hygiene conferences annually, represents Draeger on the ISEA Instruments Group and completed the AIHA Quantitative Industrial Hygiene Course and the Chemical/Biological Countermeasures Course at the U.S. Army Chemical School, Fort McClellan.
Ed has been married since 1986 and lives with his family in south western Pennsylvania.
