From semiconductor physics to space-science applications, Dr. Hull has been researching and developing germanium gamma-ray detector technology for over 20 years. It has been his privilege to work with the very finest innovators and developers of germanium detectors and systems at DOE National Laboratories, Universities and other Companies. His technical role at PHDS Co. ranges from germanium-crystal growth through gamma-ray imaging and spectroscopy. Steady research and development has led to the existence of instruments like GeGI (the Germanium Gamma-ray Imager), now being shipped to customers worldwide for all manner of nuclear security and research.
